Jo Irvine has been one of Australia’s best wine producers for over 20 years. Her years of dedication and passion to only produce the finest quality wines was recently recognised at the London Wine Competition 2021, where she won gold. Her winery, Lévrier Wines by Jo Irvine, is located just outside of Nuriootpa in the beautiful Barossa Valley, South Australia. Lévrier Wines by Jo Irvine selects fruit from dedicated Barossa and Eden Valley growers, combined with specifically coopered new French oak barrels allows her the honour of creating luxurious wines.
Meslier Rosé is very pale in colour with lifted apple fruit and crisp, racy acidity. Vintage wines are allowed to mature on yeast lees for 24-36 months before final blending with 40-50% of a younger vintage. A small amount of current vintage Cabernet Sauvignon is added to create the attractive pale rose colour. This wine is the only single varietal Meslier Rosé produced in the world that we are aware of at this point in time.
This wine won Silver at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show.
